The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Council (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu Asiwaju has gone to the leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti to receive blessings ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.
This event happened on Sunday, October 30th at the country home of the leader of Afenifere.
This blessing came in weeks after the acting leader of the group, Ayo Adebanjo, had endorsed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The APC presidential candidate standard arrived in the state, bearing his Action Plan on how to reposition the country and presenting it to the Yoruba cultural and political organization.
The 80-page Action Plan document christened Renewed Hope, was formally launched by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 21st of October in the nations capital.
Irrespective of the acting leader’s endorsement of Peter Obi, the leader of Afenifere went ahead to give the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu his blessings.
