Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party has said that the presidential seat is not a retirement home.
He said this at the flag off campaign in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa state.
He added that the presidential candidates of APC and PDP are weak and tired to effectively lead the country.
“Aso Rock is a seat of power for energetic and vibrant people to live and tackle the huge problems facing the country.” He added.
He says he believes that the country’s presidency is for leaders who are patriotic enough and ready to do the job, assuring that he and his team are ready and committed to serve Nigeria and bring her back to greatness.
Peter Obi added that his administration would focus on shifting the country from consumption to production, stating that farmers will return to their farms and youths will be gainfully engaged.
He urged Nigerians not to support those who will make governance a retirement home and steal their monies, assuring that the administration of Labour Party will solve Nigeria’s problems, tho not an overnight job but progressively.
“It’s not going to be over night but we will tackle insecurity and return farmers to their farms,” he said.
