I didn’t marry a new wife, it was a prank – Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie, Nollywood actor, and politician has once again taken to his social media page to say that his earlier post on him taking a second wife who just bore him a son is false, and he did all that just to get the attention of Nigerians.

The post which he had earlier written: “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is Star Dike Munachimso Yul-Edochie.

“Born by my second wife; Judy Austin. And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children” had brought about a lot of controversy as many condemned him for going into polygamy.

replying to the post, Yul’s first wife, May, said: “May God judge you both.”

After which he took again to his social media hailing his first wife, calling her “number one, undisputed”

Later on Thursday, Mr. Edochie took to his Instagram to post a smiling picture of himself, captioned: “Real men own up and take responsibility. Fake men dey hide for back dey run am.”

But following the heated controversy amassed by the post, Yul, yet in another post on Friday, said he was only “acting a movie” to see how people will react to it.

According to him, he played the prank because Nigerians did not pay much attention to his political ambition as he expected when he ran for the office of the Governor of Anambra State in 2017.
