TMZ reported on December 10, 2021, that Kim had legally filed to become single despite all of Kanye’s efforts and pleas to win her back and resolve their differences. She was allegedly asking the judge to separate issues of child custody and property from marital status.
The celebrity has achieved one major feat in her divorce proceedings after one year, as she has been approved legally single by the court at a hearing on the 2nd of March 2022
Kim was also granted permission to make it officially known to her fans, followers, and the public at large on social media as she reverts to her maiden name.
Regardless of removing her last name “West”, her fragrance brand still carries the KKW initials which were her married initials and she proudly promotes them.
