The Lagos state police command has confirmed the death of the son of Nigeria’s music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
The incident happened in the pool of the star’s residence. It was reported that the three year old boy drowned to death.
The Police spokesman Hundeyin has said that eight people (domestic staff of Davido) have been invited to the station for questioning.
He went on to say that anyone found culpable of the child’s death after a thorough investigation would be arrested.
“It is true, the child is dead. About eight people were brought in for questioning and we are investigating the matter. Anyone found culpable in the death of the child would be arrested,” Hundeyin said.
Three year old Ifeanyi was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident.
