Aminu Tambuwal withdraws from the presidential race and supports Atiku Abubakar instead of the PDP primaries.

The governor of Sokoto state and former presidential aspirant, Aminu Tambuwal has stepped down from the race at the presidential primaries/convention

The Governor asked his supporters to support Atiku, stating that sacrifices need to be made for the part and for the nation.

“Time has come for us to make sacrifices in the interest of our party and our nation. I have come to the conclusion that I have to step down”, he said.
