Peter Obi resigns from PDP, withdraws from party’s primaries

Few days into the primaries of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), presidential aspirant Peter Obi resigns and withdraws from contesting in the primaries.

He made this known via his verified Twitter  handle, showing the official letter he sent to the chairman of PDP

Peter Obi remains a presidential candidate but would be contesting in a different party.

His action have begun to spring up multiple sided reactions.

The PDP has fixed May 28th and 29th for its presidential primaries.
