Dei Dei international market set on fire. 10 dead, several injured

Dei Dei Market Clash: According to sources, What started as an accident, resulted in chaos that left some dead, with many properties lost and many injured.

An Okada man who carried an Igbo passenger was driving at speed and ran into a truck. The passenger’s (a woman) head was crushed by the truck.

The Okada man hurriedly dragged his bike out in a bid to escape but was pursued by the Igbo traders, his bike was caught and burnt.

In retaliation, Hausa/Fulani men attacked Dei Dei’s international market in Abuja and started burning the Igbo people’s place of business, burning their goods.

10 have been confirmed dead with many properties destroyed and many injured.
