Former Big Brother Housemate – Rico Swavey, confirmed dead

Ex Big Brother Naija housemate Patrick Fakoya popularly known as Rico, has been confirmed dead.

Rico was one of the contestants of the Season 3 Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

His fellow housemates took it to their social media handles, confirming his death and expressing their grief.

Alexandra Amuchechukwu Asogwa popularly known as Alex Unusual wrote “This was not what we agreed Rico, Rest in peace.” Tobi Bakare also wrote on his Twitter page “This is how I will remember us brother. Forever ” RIP”

It was reported that the deceased was a victim of a terrible auto crash that left him in a coma. The ex-housemates took to their social media to raise funds for Rico.

Alex on Instagram wrote: I wish I didn’t have to post this but my friend is in a critical condition and we are in need of your financial assistance and prayers.

“I also wish I could give more information on his health but how can I when we are still waiting for the doctors and God to save this dear life or at least get a sign or response from Rico?

“Whatever you can do to support him will be highly appreciated as he is on life support and fighting for his life. Please, @ricoswavey_official needs our help #ricoswavey #prayforricoswavey” This post was made on Wednesday.

Also, on Wednesday, the management of Rico announced that he was on life support. Rico gave up the ghost Thursday.
