Akinwumi Adesina, the 8th elected President of AfDB bagged Honourary Doctorate from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia

Just after 5 days of being conferred an honorary doctorate by Dukes University, USA, the President of African Development Bank (ADFB)  gets awarded an honorary degree by Addis Ababa University, ranked No.6 in Africa and No 1 in East Africa.

Adesina and his wife, Grace were delighted to be with the Prime minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed. He was thrilled to receive the award and expressed his deep appreciation in his words

This award is a propeller to do more in achieving the objective of the AFDB to spur sustainable economic development and social progress in its regional member countries (RMCs), thus contributing to poverty reduction.
