Following the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, at the end of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja, giving Cabinet members with the ambition to resign the freedom to do so, some of the cabinet members have taken the bold step

This decision apparently is a move to avoid litigations that may jeopardize the chances of APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Some of the cabinet members who have resigned are; Niger Delta Affairs Minister -Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Education – Emeka Nwajuiba, and Minister of Transportation – Rotimi Ameachi.
