Woman sues former boyfriend to pay the monies borrowed him

A business woman in Kaduna, Fatima Ismail, yesterday, asked a Sharia Court at Rigasa Kaduna, to order her former boyfriend, Abubakar Shuaibu to pay her the monies he borrowed from her which accumulatively is the sum of 180,000 Naira.

Ismail told the court that she lent her former boyfriend, Shuaibu 230,000 naira to repair his car, and he has paid only 50,000 naira so far.

She said all his efforts to pay back the loan failed.

Listening to Shuaibu’s part of the story, he narrated that Ismail did not state that the money she gave him was on loan, and he does not have a job.

“She does not like seeing me worried.

“Whenever she sees me in that state, she asks me to give me money,” he said.
