Musiliu Obanikoro Loses APC primary election for Lagos West

Former minister of state for defence, Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro has lost the APC Senatorial primaries ticket for Lagos West

Obanikoro lost to former deputy of Lagos state, Mrs Idiat Adebule.

Obanikoro had a total of 119 votes, Adebule had a total of 424 votes, third Aspirant Mr Kayode Opeifa, has a total of 4 votes.

APC electoral returning officer, Mr Emeka Okafor, announced the result, stating that Adebule won the Lagos West APC senatorial ticket for the 2023 general election with a total of 424 votes and emerges as their official candidate for the seat.

In his words: We have 557 total votes cast, with 10 invalid votes.

“I hereby declare Dr Idiat Adebule  winner of APC Lagos West Senatorial Primary election,” he said.
